Simple Tests to Evaluate Your Health |
Even when you're not at the doctor's office, there are a ton of little things you can do every day to help you get a feel for the state of your body.
newpost gives you the opportunity to run some simple tests that will help you track the state of your body.
These tests are in no way the basis for making a diagnosis, as they can be indicators of various other diseases. However, if you notice any of the symptoms that we have mentioned, you should not ignore them. See a doctor for a detailed examination right away.
1. Flexibility
To do this test, sit on the floor and spread your legs out in front of you and try to touch your feet with your fingertips. If you can do this easily, your body is in excellent shape. If you find this difficult, it might be a good idea to do yoga, Pilates, or swimming to improve your body's flexibility and avoid excessive weakening of your joints.
2. The heart
Sit quietly for five minutes in silence, then place four fingers on the inner side of your wrist. Find your pulse. Measure it for 1 minute, counting the number of pulses. For adults and children over 10 years old, 60-100 beats per minute is considered normal. More or less can indicate problems with blood pressure. However, do not try to make the diagnosis yourself, go see a doctor.
3. Fingers
Pour some very cold water into a mug and dip your fingers in it for 30 seconds. If your fingertips turn white or blue, or if you can't bear a cold, see a doctor to have your blood flow checked. There is a condition in which stress or cold can cause spasms in the blood vessels supplying the fingers, toes, nose, lips, and ears, causing numbness, pain, and color changes.
4. Respiratory system
Light a match and then extend the hand you are holding in front of you. Breathe in deeply through your nose and then exhale through your mouth, trying to extinguish the flame as you do so. How many tries does it take to put out the flame? If you multiply, there is a possibility that you have a weak respiratory system. This can be due to smoking, lack of exercise, or chronic airway disease.
5. Fluid retention
Press down on the top or bottom of your foot with your thumb. If you still have a notch in your foot several seconds after removing your thumb, there is a possibility that your body has a fluid retention problem. See your doctor to diagnose the cause and begin treatment.
6. Eyes
Close one eye and take three to five steps back from the screen. Take a look at the circuit above. Determine if some lines appear darker than others. If the answer is yes, then it is worth seeing an ophthalmologist because you may have astigmatism.
